Notes

1 to 5 released as LP "Juju Street Songs" in 1972 (Prestige 10057).
6 to 11 released as LP "Follow, The Medicine Man" in 1973 (Prestige 10068).

1 to 5 recorded at Fantasy Studios, Berkeley, CA, October 1972
6 to 8 and 11 recorded at Fantasy Studios, Berkeley, CA, October 1972
9 & 10 recorded at C.I. Recording Studios, New York City, June 1973

Since maximum playing time of a single CD could not accommodate the entire length of the original double-album release, it was necessary to delete one selection. The decision was left to Gary Bartz, who elected to omit "Etoiles Des Neiges" from LP "Follow, The Medicine Man", a traditional song arranged by him. (from CD booklet)
