"These recordings were previously released in a different form on the United Dairies label":
- track AE on To The Quiet Men From A Tiny Girl.
- track BE on Merzbild Schwet, but was re-recorded in June 1983 for this LP.

A minute and a half of the piece "Ostranenie" is taken right off John Cage's "Credo in Us" as recorded on the four LP box set Music Before Revolution (EMI C 165-28 954/57). No alteration of this long sample was made.

Highly recommended. If you are curious about the early Nurse sound this is the one i think. I've had it a long time so I AM biased but it is so complete so perfect, so disturbed. and when we sat and listened to it for the first time in the early 80's, so disturbing. it was not music and that really did cause issues for some folks. NWW are always interesting and most times stunning, this is at the top end of that statement.

if you like and enjoy musique concret and are up for the stockhausen of mikrophonies and the stand alone albums taken from his aus den dieben tagen opera and [ENJOY] Robert Ashley's Purposeful Lady Slow Afternoon, this is for you. it is, it seems to me , an unabashed and hugely welcomed continuatuion of that lineage. it really asks you to step out and LISTEN.
