This is a compilation of 17 tracks in almost but not quite strict chronological order, taken from their first five albums released on Transatlantic Records between 1968 and 1971.
The approximate play time is 67 (cassette and CD versions state 68) minutes; the individual track durations are not listed.
Even if the CD and record labels say "STEREO", the first three tracks are actually in mono.
In Cliff Dane's 1988 liner notes, the title of the final track is wrongly written without a question mark.
"Bruton Town" is subtitled as "(Studio Version)" on this release, thus indicating that it's the original song from (The) Pentangle's eponymous debut album, not the live version from the concert part of the band's second effort "Sweet Child", which was recorded at London's Royal Festival Hall.
