You might think the current prices are steep, but when you order it from the UK, pay postage and customs charges on it, it roughly comes to the same price. I understand from the point of view if you are American and you buy from an American seller it will be steep, especially if said vinyl is available in stores or online. It cost roughly £60 for me to buy this from Lakeshore, i guess the peace of mind i have if i want to sell in the future, my postage and customs charges will be covered at least.

With my fingers crossed i put the needle on and prayed that this was going to be a nice experience after paying a whack for postage and customs. Much to my joy it's a relatively quiet non popping and crackling picture disc. There is the odd bit of noise on side one, but side two seems to be even clearer and this was the reason i bought the soundtrack.Packaging could have done with a slight dab more glue, other than that i really can't complain, great record for fans.

Yeah I had seen someone asking on their Facebook page I think if they were releasing black. I emailed them to ask if it would have a European release as postage and customs ended up costing me two thirds more than the actual vinyl. They assured me it won’t be and won’t be repressed which is good to know. I have a couple other picture discs in my collection that sound great and you wouldn’t know it wasn’t on black vinyl.

I'm personally not a big fan of picture discs due to quality. But this one is indeed very clean sounding. I had contacted Lakeshore to see if they had any intentions of releasing a standard LP and they said no.
